About the Role


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Part-Time Tech Events Coordinator and Host to join us. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and hosting engaging tech events that bring together industry experts, our target audience, and the broader tech community. Your mission is to create events that inform our audience, drive website traffic, boost enrollments, and foster a strong and active community:

What you'll be doing:

  • Event Planning: Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to conceptualize, plan, and execute a series of tech-focused events throughout the year.

  • Content Creation: Develop compelling event topics, themes, and agendas that resonate with our target audience. Create engaging content and presentations for events.

  • Guest Outreach: Identify and invite influential speakers, experts, and guests from the tech industry to participate in our events.

  • Event Management: Oversee all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, scheduling, tech setup, and coordination with vendors.

  • Event Promotion: Work closely with the marketing team to promote events through various channels, such as social media, email campaigns, and partnerships.

  • Audience Engagement: Host events with enthusiasm, interact with guests, facilitate Q&A sessions, and ensure a lively and informative atmosphere.

  • Audience Building: Grow our event audience by identifying new outreach opportunities and expanding our community of attendees.

  • Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from event participants to continuously improve event quality and relevance.

  • Community Building: Foster a sense of community among our audience, nurturing a supportive network of like-minded professionals.

  • Plan and run tech sessions, hackathons, virtual meetup and hangouts, and other events. 



  • Proven experience in event planning and hosting, particularly in tech-related events.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Knowledge of the tech industry and the latest trends.

  • Understanding of Edutech and its impact on career development.

  • Proficiency in using event management and promotion tools.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.



What we offer:

  • Gross Monthly Salary: N100,000  - N150,000 (based on experience level)
